TRAINING Free Mandated Reporter Training! The Council is Shasta County’s primary provider of Mandated Reporter Training programs for people who work with children and are therefore mandated to report suspected child abuse. Our organization has conducted trainings for several years, providing trainings for AmeriCorps members, YMCA, classified school staff, Home Visitors and Foster Grandparents. Trainings have also been presented to teen parents and foster care programs. Mandated Reporter Trainings can be scheduled by contacting our office at 241-5816. No class size is too small! On-line Mandated Reporter Training is also available at the Sacramento Child Abuse Prevention Coordinating Council website: www.capcsac.org and the California Department of Social Services: Free Online MCART Training We now offer Continuing Education Units for LCSW's and MFT's for the Mandated Reporter Training.
